Summer is here and that means it is grilling season. One of our favorite things to grill is vegetables. And the boys’ all-time favorite grilled vegetable is Romaine steaks. You can’t believe how much they eat when this is on the menu.
Ingredients:
- Hearts of Romaine
- Olive oil
- Caesar Dressing
- Shaved or grated parmesan cheese
- Salt and pepper
Directions:
- Heat grill to a medium high heat.
- Cut the hearts of Romaine lettuce in half, wash and pat dry
- Brush the flat surface of the lettuce with olive oil
- Place the oiled surface down on the grill for just a few minutes until the edges of the lettuce start to brown.
- Serve drizzled with Caesar dressing and sprinkled with Parmesan cheese.
- Salt and pepper to taste.
