I bet if I took a poll of my readers about their New Year’s resolutions, our ratios would look similar to this chart compiled by Statista. Those top two resolutions usually are tied to a weight loss goal. But being healthy is about more than losing weight. It is about feeling and looking healthy.
When we decide to eat healthier and get more exercise, we may see the scale move. We might not. So instead of having that be your only measure of success, consider also tracking some of these non-scale victories:

- Clearer skin
- Fewer headaches
- Less joint pain
- Better quality sleep
- More mental clarity
- Improved digestion
- Lost inches
- Better fitting clothes
- More energy
- Improved mobility
