It Starts with Small Steps
Are you already thinking about your 2025 goals? I know I am- and my favorite tip for setting goals is to create small changes that help you get to your big goal.
Research shows that a lot of big changes in a short amount of time doesn’t work. It becomes too overwhelming and we give up. Instead, think about breaking your big goal into small doable steps.
First, ask yourself, “What do I want to accomplish in 2025?”?
Then, break it down into smaller steps! Think of it this way — what is a small change you can make that you can stick to that in the long run will have a positive impact towards your goal?
- Maybe you want to gain strength- your monthly goals can be upping your weights, trying a new workout program, or eating more protein.
- Maybe you want to start your own business. Your baby steps can be research, training, etc.
- Maybe your goal is to read more books- assign a book for each month!
- Want to spend more time with your family? Decide on an activity for each month of the year.
Small consistent changes make the biggest impacts. Small steps add up over time!
