Like you, I balance many roles. I am a wife, a mother, a college instructor, a coach, a mentor to my students, a lifelong learner, and a fitness enthusiast. I am passionate about making better choices in my life and I am just as passionate about helping others make better choices for themselves and their families.
When I was diagnosed with Crohn’s in 1985, my world changed. I needed to rethink how I eat, how I sleep, and how I manage stress. Basically, I needed to rethink my life. So, my journey of discovery began.
This blog is about what I have learned through my journey. It is about finding balance through healthy choices in all areas of our lives. It is about making those healthy choices a life long habit.
This blog is for others who suffer from a chronic disease, or someone interested in living a more balanced life, or for someone wanting to create healthier habits for their family. It is place for me to share what I have learned and a place for me to learn from you.
Welcome to Making Healthy Choices a Habit.
