The little decisions matter. Going to the gym a few times a week or eating an extra serving of vegetables isn’t going to impact you immediately but it will matter. Taking a walk after dinner one night a week probably doesn’t feel like a victory, but it is. Every little “yes” is a step in the right direction.
Making good small decisions matter over time. Being intentional to make small healthy decisions seems to go against our nature. I mean really, would saying “yes” to a salad and “no” to fries at lunch one day be insignificant? Yes, because making those little decisions over and over add up.
So do little “no’s”. Consider this — Saying “no” allows space for more “yes’s”. Think of it like your garden. Space is limited. You can’t plant all the seeds or plants you want. If you do, there is not enough space for the plants to grow and produce. Instead, you need to choose what seeds you will plant so they flourish.
Now, take that same logic to your health journey. What little “yes” will you plant today?
